Buenos Aires, February 11 (NA) – Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno has invited Pope Leo XIV to visit Argentina via a letter signed by President Javier Milei, as confirmed by the Argentine News Agency. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship informs that Minister Pablo Quirno delivered an invitation letter to Pope Leo XIV, signed by President Javier Milei, for a visit to the Argentine Republic,” the communiqué stated. It further added: “This initiative is part of the excellent moment in the diplomatic relations between Argentina and the Holy See, which have historically been characterized by open dialogue, constructive cooperation, and convergence on fundamental values.” In this context, the Minister reaffirmed Argentina’s willingness to continue working jointly with the Holy See in favor of peace, understanding among nations, and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.”
